Great location, very good fish dishes, always fresh, but you can't get there by car, on foot on a good path from Prien in about 15 minutes by bike on several paths.

We stopped here when we circled the Chiemsee by bike.

This is real German fish/beergarden deal. The house dish is BBQ trout on a stick. With it you order potato salad and a pretzel and of course a beer. Then let your tastebuds awaken :) I should have taken a picture.

The food was good. We had made reservations and the tables were completely dirty from the previous guests. We were then given a dirty rag to clean the table. This is not a hygiene concept.

Good place, no service at tables but this is not an issue at all. The grilled fish was absolutely good and tasty. Prices a little bit over the average considering there is no service at all. But still I recommend this place for a quick and typical meal.

This time I was not satisfied! The smoked fish “Renke” was totally salty and not really fresh. For me I make my choice for the future!

Good beer garden with a lot of choice. The fish was delicious and the price level was super good. There is self-service and parking spaces are also available. Ideal for cyclists.

Great beer garden with even grilled fish. The food is prepared with "love". For delicious drinks is also provided. The beer garden is located directly on Lake Chiemsee. We felt very comfortable.

A very nice place to eat fresh fish where you can see while they cook it on the BBQ. Also the potato salad is very good and, obviously they have beer. What else do you need?

Top simply delicious. The concept of self-service takes getting used to, but is good. A must for every visitor to the area. The opening times are idiosyncratic and cannot really be calculated. We stood in front of the locked door twice. Only open when the weather is nice. But what's nice?
